The Oscar committee has started the official entries for India and 20 films from across the country will be named soon. The Film Federation of India has also sent a few films for Oscar selection, including Abhishek Bachchan’s ‘Ghoomar’ and Adah Sharma’s ‘The Keller Story’.
Apart from this, Nandita Das directorial and Kapil Sharma starrer ‘Zwigato’ is also likely to join the list of 20 films. According to the sources of ‘eTimes’, Marathi and Telugu films will also be included in this list. There is talk that Paresh Mokashi’s film ‘Walvi’ will also be included in this.

Along with all these films Vidhu Vinod Chopra’s ’12th Fail’ can also go for Oscar. Its screening will start from today in Chennai. Which other films will be selected will be announced on September 23 and it will also be clear which of these films will be sent.
