Mumbai : Actor, director Prasad Oak has shown his directorial skills with films like “Kachcha Limbu”, “Hirakani”, “Chandramukhi”. Now he is bringing to the big screen ‘Pathe Bapurao’, the biopic of the famous democrat Patthe Bapurao, who has a great name in the Shahiri tradition, and Amrita Khanwilkar will be seen in the role of ‘Pavla’ along with him in the film. The poster of the film was unveiled on social media on the occasion of Ghatasthanabha.

Prabhakar Parab, Sachin Narkar, Vikas Pawar and Prakash Devle, Sapna Lalchandani of Destiny Productions are producing the movie “Pathe Bapurao” through the production house Swaroop Studios. The film is written by Aba Gaikwad and cinematography will be done by Sanjay Memane. Sridhar Srikrishna Kulkarni Rethrekar, popularly known as “Pathe Bapurao” in Shahiri tradition of Maharashtra. Patthe Bapurao composed numerous works such as Gana, Gaulan, Bhedik, Zaghadya, Rangbaji, Vaga. His songs and poems were sung from the stage. But he had to face a big struggle in his life. Prasad Oak, Swaroop Studios and Destiny Productions are trying to bring the same life struggle of Pathe Bapurao to the new generation.
