India all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja became the latest recipient of the “best fielder medal”, following India’s 70-run victory over New Zealand in the World Cup 2023 semi-final in Mumbai on Sunday Wednesday.

Presenting the medal to Jadeja, Suryakumar Yadav used a reference from the Bollywood film Bajirao Mastani, saying: “Cheeteh ki chaal, baaj ki najar aur Royal Navghan ki fielding se koi nahi bach sakta” (One cannot escape from the speed of a cheetah, the vision of a hawk, and the parking of the Royal Cave).
