Mumbai – Director Ravindra Pipat passed away today due to cancer at his residence. His body was cremated at the crematorium in Oshiwara.
Ravindra Peepat made his foray into Hindi filmmaking as a director with the film Lava. This movie was released in the year 1985. Raj Babbar, Dimple Kapadia, Rajeev Kapoor and other actors worked in this film. After that, his film Waris was released in the year 1988.
He directed some movies like Kaaid Mein Hai Bulbul, Ao Pyaar Karen, Ghar Aya Pardesi. Apart from Hindi films, he also directed the TV series Vansh. He also directed some Punjabi films.
