On the other hand, ABP News and C-Voter’s pre-poll survey has revealed the trend. Shocking findings have come out in this survey.
All the 200 assembly constituencies in Rajasthan will be polled in a single phase. Voting for the assembly elections in the state will be held on November 23 and the results will be announced on December 3. In Rajasthan, the electorate changes every five years. For the past few years, power has been alternating between Congress and BJP. In the opinion survey, the general public was asked which government will be formed between BJP and Congress in Rajasthan.
In 2018, the Congress contested as the opposition party in the elections for 199 seats of the 200-member Rajasthan Legislative Assembly. Congress emerged as the single largest party by winning 99 seats with 39.8 percent votes, but fell just one seat short of the 100-seat majority required for a majority. BJP, which entered the election arena as the ruling party then, was behind in the number of votes by a small margin. BJP’s votes were 39.3 percent as compared to Congress’s 39.8 percent. So, BJP got 73 seats in the election.
