Pakistan Cricket Team: Ahead of the ODI World Cup, there is good news for Babar Azam and his entire team. The Pakistan Cricket Board has agreed to pay a share of the ICC’s revenue to the players. This is a historic win for Pakistani players. So the players will get a chance to earn millions.

Before leaving for India for the World Cup, Pakistan captain Babar Azam met PCB chairman Zaka Ashraf at his residence. At this time, Babar discussed with him about this agreement. In return for this consent, the PCB will retain the right to issue NOCs to players to play in the T20 league.

PCB appointed chief selector Inzamam-ul-Haq as a mediator between the two parties to resolve the matter. Meanwhile, captain Babar is representing the players. At the last moment PCB has approved this contract for the players. However, the signatures of the players have not been taken on the documents yet. This process will be completed after returning from the World Cup. As per the new contract, Babar Azam, Shaheen Afridi and Mohammad Rizwan will be paid PKR 4.5 million as they are in category A. Whereas, category B players will get PKR 3 million. Apart from this, players in the remaining two categories will be paid PKR 1.5 to 0.7 million monthly.

This will be the central contract of the Pakistan Cricket Board

Centrally contracted players will get 3 percent of the ICC’s revenue share for the PCB.

The PCB will earn $34.51 million from the ICC’s revenue share. Therefore, $1.03 million will be shared among the players.

According to a report by Cricket Pakistan, Babar Azam, Shaheen Afridi and Mohammad Rizwan are in category A and will earn Rs 45 lakh per month.

Category B players will get PKR 30 lakh per month.

C and D category players will get a monthly payout ranging from PKR 15 lakh to PKR 7 lakh.

However, all players will also have to pay 10 percent tax.

When will the India-Pakistan match take place?

The ODI World Cup is starting from October 5 in India. The final match of the tournament will be held on November 19. The first match between defending champions England and New Zealand will be played at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. The title match will also be played on this ground. India’s campaign will begin against Australia on October 8 at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai. At the same time, there will be a match against Pakistan on 14th.
