The family of The sopranos actor John Ventimiglia mourns the death of his daughter Hood Odele Ventimiglia.
According to her obituary, the 25-year-old died on January 12. His mother, Cape Belindaalso confirmed the news in a Jan. 21 Facebook post.
“It is heartbroken to have to post the announcement of our dear Odele’s funeral,” she wrote. “His sister Lucinda and I are overwhelmed with the messages of support and love we have received, and your memories of how Odele was cherished by so many. Odele was much loved and leaves a huge hole in our lives.”
Odele’s cause of death has not been disclosed. According to Belinda’s Facebook post, a funeral service was held in Brooklyn, New York, on Jan. 26.
In addition to her parents and sister, Odele is survived by her 2-month-old daughter. Shilo. According to the obituary, the family asked the bereaved to donate to a GoFundMe account instead of sending flowers to help cover Shiloh’s future education costs.
