Mumbai- Assembly elections will be held in the state next year. Various arguments are being made about who will be the next Chief Minister of Maharashtra. MLAs of the Shinde group are taking the name of Eknath Shinde, while BJP leader Devendra Fadnavis is adamant that he will be the Chief Minister. But, Sharad Pawar group leader Anil Deshmukh made a different claim.
He has expressed his belief that the next Chief Minister of Maharashtra will be from Maha Vikas Aghadi. He has shared a post about this on X. He said that ‘MLAs of the Shinde group say that Eknath Shinde will be the Chief Minister in 2024, while BJP MLAs say that Devendra Fadnavis will be the Chief Minister, but neither Fadnavis nor Shinde will be the Chief Minister in 2024, only the Mahavikas Aghadi of NCP, Congress, Shiv Sena!’
Preparations have started from all parties in the background of 2024 assembly elections. All parties are trying to win maximum seats. It is likely to see a match between Shinde Group, BJP and Maha Vikas Aghadi in the coming time.
The state witnessed many upheavals in the last five years. BJP had won the most seats. But, Devendra Fadnavis could not become the Chief Minister. After that, Uddhav Thackeray prepared an alliance with Congress and NCP.
