Madhya Pradesh Law University has decided to give leave to female students after menstruation. This is the first university in the country to take such a decision. The Dharmashastra National Law University (DNLU) of Jabalpur in Madhya Pradesh has decided to give menstrual leave to female students. The university has issued an order for menstrual leave from the new session.
Students will get leave during menstruation
According to the information given by the in-charge vice-chancellor of the university, Shailesh N Hadli, the demand for menstruation leave was being demanded on behalf of the Student Bar Association for many days. Keeping this in mind, we have granted this leave. It has been decided to grant this leave from the new semester. These holidays will be a part of six holidays given to students in every semester to participate in cultural and other important events. Also, girls can take these holidays during menstruation.
