Leandro Trossard’s agent slammed by Roberto De Zerbi but hints Brighton exile could remain in transfer swoop to Arsenal and Tottenham
Roberto De Zerbi continued his battle of words with Leandro Trossard’s agent, but hinted the player could still have a future at Brighton.
The Belgium international was banned from first-team training, forced to train alone as tensions erupted between player and manager this month.
The winger’s agent released a furious statement on behalf of his client on Friday, accusing De Zerbi of “bullying” Trossard, adding that the 28-year-old wants to leave Amex Stadium as soon as possible.
Tottenham Hotspur and Arsenal have been keenly interested in Trossard, who has scored seven times in 16 Premier League appearances this season, including a hat-trick against Liverpool.
But De Zerbi suggested there is a path of redemption for the former Genk star, who returned to Belgium this week after learning he would not play last weekend.

Tottenham Hotspur have been interested in Trossard since last summer, with the club currently in a tight spot and Antonio Conte desperate for reinforcements.
But Arsenal have since entered the race after missing out on Mykhailo Mudryk, who signed for Chelsea this week – although the Blues are another team rumored to be eyeing a potential deal for Trossard.
