Jeremy Renner and Chris Evans Joke About Snowplow Accident That Left ‘Avengers’ Star With ’30 Broken Bones’
The Avengers have come together online for a little comic relief after Jeremy Renner admitted to suffering more than 30 broken bones from a traumatic snowplow accident on New Year’s Day.
Renner shared an update with his social media followers on Saturday after being released from hospital a few days earlier.
On the first day of the year, the “Hurt Locker” star was run over by his 14,000-pound snowcat as he attempted to tow a vehicle from his driveway following a blizzard in the Lake Tahoe area.
He had to be airlifted after being run over by the PistenBully and suffered blunt force trauma to his chest and orthopedic injuries. Renner has since recovered.

Renner received physical therapy in a photo shared online.

“Morning workouts, New Year’s resolutions all changed this particular New Year… Born from a tragedy for my entire family and quickly focused on uniting actionable love,” he wrote. .

Renner added: “These 30+ broken bones will mend, grow stronger, just as the love and connection with family and friends deepens. Love and blessings to you all.”
Chris Evans wanted to make sure everything had been accounted for since the accident.
‘He’s an asshole. Has anyone seen the snow cat?? Sending so much love,” Evans wrote.
“I love you brother…. I checked the snowcat, she needs fuel,” Renner replied.
Renner was “completely crushed” and struggling to “breathe” after the Jan. 1 crash, according to 911 call logs obtained by Fox News Digital.
In addition, he was “bleeding profusely from his head and other unknown injuries” and the caller believed “Renner’s right side of his chest had collapsed” and “the upper body was crushed”.
He had to undergo surgery and it is unclear when Renner was released from the hospital. The second season of “Mayor of Kingstown” premiered on January 15, where Renner stars as Mike McLusky.
Renner was nominated twice for an Oscar with ‘The Hurt Locker’ and ‘The Town’. He won his Disney+ series, “Hawkeye”, after several appearances in MCU movies, including “The Avengers” series.
