Veteran actor Nana Patekar is currently in the limelight due to the film ‘The Vaccine War’. The trailer of this film was released recently. The film stars actor Nana Patekar and actress Pallavi Joshi in lead roles. Nana Patekar is currently attending several events to promote the film. He is often seen expressing his views about Bollywood. In a recent interview, Nana Patekar has commented on stardom.

Nana Patekar says, “Today new actors are making their debut in Bollywood every day and people are also appreciating their performances. So it has become very difficult to become a superstar. In recent times, the stardom of an actor is determined by the box office earnings. But, it was not like that in earlier times…the legendary artists of that time are still remembered by us. We can never forget Dilip Kumar Saheb, Raj Kapoor, Dev Anand.”

Nana Patekar added, “Nowadays people’s favorite artists change every week. Now stardom is measured by box office numbers. But, OTT is a new platform for those actors who don’t get a chance to work on the big screen. Many artists are getting a chance to showcase their talent on OTT. We did not get such jobs then. Now everyone is getting a chance to prove themselves on OTT.”

Meanwhile, the movie ‘The Vaccine War’ directed by Vivek Ranjan Agnihotri will release on September 28. The film has many actors including Nana Patekar, Raima Sen, Pallavi Joshi, Girija Oak Godbole, Saptami Gowda.
