The audience clapped and applauded Virat. The second best partnership against Australia in the World Cup is now registered in the name of the Indian pair. In 1996, New Zealanders L German and Chris Harris added 168 runs. Virat-Lokesh today broke the record of 160 runs held by AB de Villiers and Graeme Smith in 2007.
