Chhagan Bhujbal, leader of Ajit Pawar group of NCP, said that he cannot tell lies in politics. He also told that he lied only twice so far. This time he also told these two instances of lying. One incident is related to Shiv Sena chief Balasaheb Thackeray, while the other is related to Sharad Pawar.
Chhagan Bhujbal said, “I will not lie. I lied, but only twice. I cannot lie in politics. Once when I wanted to quit Shiv Sena. A newspaper reported this a day before the release. Then Balasaheb Thackeray got a call. If I lied to Balasaheb then, no, no, nothing like that will happen.”
“I lied for the second time when I got a call from Sharad Pawar”
“The second time I lied was when I got a call from Sharad Pawar. They asked me what was going on there. At that time I lied, I come to see. I have admitted both those lies today. Everything else I said is 100 percent true,” said Chhagan Bhujbal.

“Yes, I lied to Pawar and Supriya Sule that day”
Meanwhile, Chhagan Bhujbal had said, “Chhagan Bhujbal went to Bhujbal saying that he is coming after seeing what happened there and he took the oath of office”, said Sharad Pawar.
“I told Supriya tai that I will go and see. Supriya tai said you should not come. After five minutes, Saheb’s call came immediately. What I told Supriya tai, I told Saheb. The position of the president is to be decided later, so why have they gathered now? Pawar asked me that. I said I will go and see. I was at home then, but told that I was in Lonavala”, said Bhujbal.
