Hyderabad ICC World Cup 2023 : All 10 participating teams in the ICC Cricket World Cup 2023 have finalized their final squads for the tournament. Today was the last day to make any changes to the squad before the start of the mega sporting event in India. India made a last minute change in the team and replaced Akshar Patel with star spinner Ashwin. Akshar Patel suffered a quadriceps strain during the recently concluded Asia Cup. It will take at least three more weeks for him to fully recover. Meanwhile, the Australian team has also suffered a big shock before the start of the cricket season. Spinner Ashton Agar has been ruled out of the World Cup due to a serious injury. In place of Ashton Agar, Cricket Australia has given Marnus Labuchen a chance. (world cup squads for all teams)

• Commencement on 5th October:The ICC ODI Cricket World Cup will be played in India from October 5 to November 19. Ten teams have participated in this tournament this year and all the teams have announced their players. The World Cup will begin on October 5 at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad with a match between defending champions England and runners-up New Zealand. India’s Mission World Cup will start from October 8 and this match will be played between India and Australia.
