Anrich Nortje Sisanda Magala Ruled Out: Teams around the world are busy preparing for the ODI World Cup to be played in India from October 5, but many players are getting injured. Meanwhile, South Africa has suffered a double blow. Injured fast bowlers Enrich Norkia and Sisanda Magala have been ruled out of the tournament in India. South Africa head coach Rob Walter confirmed this on Thursday. All-rounder Andile Phehlukwayo and fast bowler Lizard Williams have been included in the squad in place of these two.

Injury to Enrich

According to Walter, “Enrich and Sisanda not playing in the World Cup is very disappointing. Both players are important for the team.” Enrich is reportedly injured. He was injured in the second ODI against Australia. After this it was scanned. On the other hand, Sisanda has injured his left knee. Enrich and Sisanda were both part of the initial 15-man squad announced by South Africa. Enrich’s injury will be a big blow for the team.

Meanwhile, Enrich is currently one of the fastest bowlers in the world. He also has experience of playing in India. In such a situation, he can play a big role in the team’s bowling. The South African team will leave for India on Saturday. Andile and Lizard have been doing brilliantly for quite some time now. Andile batted brilliantly in the last ODI against Australia, scoring an unbeaten 38 off 19 balls with 2 fours and 4 sixes. South Africa’s first match of the World Cup will be against Sri Lanka in Delhi on October 7.
