Leaders Online Desk: Following Canada’s allegations that India killed Khalistani leader Hardeep Singh Nijjar in Canada’s British Columbia province, several dignitaries have opposed various figures in Canada. Indian electronics brand, Bot, has announced that it will cancel its sponsorship of Canadian singer Shubneet Singh, popularly known as Shubh, on his upcoming tour. This decision has been taken by the company in connection with supporting Khalistan.
The singer had shared a wrong map of India, establishing links with Khalistani terrorists. Boat has now taken action against the matter. The decision taken by this famous brand has drawn attention to Shubh’s controversial actions. Shubh was scheduled to perform on the Cordelia Cruise in Mumbai from September 23 to 25. But it has become clear that the event will not take place as the sponsoring company Boat canceled the sponsorship. After Boat’s decision, it is likely that some more big companies will take action against the Canadian singer.
“Our commitment to the music community runs deep, we are first and foremost a true Indian brand,” BoAt posted on Twitter. When we came to know about the comments made by singer Shub, we have decided to withdraw our sponsorship from his show.
