Badminton will start from 28 September in the Asian Games.

Lakshya was instrumental in India’s Thomas Cup title. “Indian team is definitely strong in the team group. So we returned home after winning the gold medal in the Asian Games. “We are strong in team performance. We do not lack confidence. We just want to get on the court and give our hundred percent contribution. A collective effort is our plan and all the players are thinking positively,” said Sen.

Lakshya Sen, an individual silver and gold medalist at the Youth Olympics and Commonwealth Games, will play only in the team category in the event. “The atmosphere of the Asian Games is similar to the Commonwealth Games and the Youth Olympics. So we are looking forward to playing in this tournament. At the same time, we will know about the players of other countries and their game. This experience is different,” said Sen.

Lakshya expressed his desire to meet Olympic champion Neeraj Chopra, saying he has plenty of time as he will be playing only in the team section this time. I would love to see him perform and encourage him on the field, said Sen.
