Where Does Sylvester Stallone Live Now?

You’d be hard-pressed to find someone more famous than that Sylvester Stallone. He was in some of the most iconic films of all time, including Rocky, Rambo and Stop! Or my Mom will shoot (just kidding, that one was terrible). So where does he live now?

With all that fame and fortune it’s pretty safe to assume that Stallone doesn’t live in a studio apartment in the Bronx. In fact, he lives in whatever is diametrically opposite of that, aka a ridiculously huge mansion.

Did we say mansion? We meant houses. Plural. And not just two. Stallone owned (and still owns several) properties in Malibu, Hidden Valley, Miami, Coachella Valley, Palm Beach, Palm Beach and of course his home in the Hidden Hills, which featured prominently on the reality show. The Stallone Family.

Before we dive into that beautiful property, let’s take a look at how Stallone went from an anonymous tough guy to one of the most famous and successful men on the planet.

How did Sylvester Stallone become so rich?

Stallone born in Hell’s Kitchen for troubled parents in a hostile relationship. He was so hostile, in fact, that he spent much of his childhood in foster care.

His slurred speech and droopy face are the consequences of a forceps accident at birth. Perhaps because of his environment, Stallone acted a lot growing up and struggling through school after school.

He moved in with his mother and her new husband and eventually went to college after attending a high school for troubled teenagers. He attended the American College in Switzerland and then the University of Miami, choosing to pursue dramatic arts.

After his schooling he moved to New York City to pursue his dreams, which certainly didn’t happen overnight. Stallone worked a whole mess of jobs while pursuing acting, including cleaning up lion poop at the zoo, ushering at the movies, and acting in porn movies.

He also started writing around this time. He wrote a script about an amateur boxer who is down on his luck for a once-in-a-lifetime title shot. Studios were interested, but Stallone refused to sell unless he could star.

Finally, he got his shot. Rocky ended up being a mega smash. It was nominated for the best acting Oscar and there were many in the cast as well. Despite heavy competition from films like All the President’s men and Taxi drivertook home the award for best picture.

Stallone’s career took off from there, and he was one of the most relatable action stars of the 80s, with numerous sequels to both. Rocky and Rambo. Despite a career hiatus in the ’90s, there were numerous comebacks and accolades, and he earned his place in the annals of great Hollywood.

Despite the ups and downs of his career, Stallone could fill a swimming pool with his money, Scrooge McDuck style. Think about it, Stallone made $48 million for his participation in the first three Consumables films alone.

His net worth? He’s in the neighborhood of $400 million – a far cry from his years as a homeless actor struggling to make ends meet. Stallone is the only American actor to star in number one box office films in the past two decades.

One of the latest projects of the actors is the show The Stallone Family, which shows the personal life and family of the actors. When asked about the show at The Hollywood ReporterStallone said:

“This is an opportunity where I’m with my kids and I’m in a working position, where they see me in action and I see them in action. What you will see is the real truth. This is a great opportunity. I don’t look at it as stooping to win. But every time you go in a different direction, people go, ‘Oh God, you must be inside [financial] trouble.’ Quite the opposite.”

Where does Sylvester Stallone live now?

The lion’s share of the filming The Stallone Family held in California, but is also filmed elsewhere. Stallone’s history of mansion ownership began early in his career, and in the late 80s he bought a Hidden Valley home called Eagle Ranch.

When he bought the house, it was just a two-bedroom cottage and he stabled a stall for horses. He added a polo field with floodlights, a guest house, a residence for his horse handlers, a guard house and a lodge at 7,500 feet.

He also bought and sold properties in Miami, Palm Beach, and Hidden Valley. He owned a mansion in Beverly Park until 2022, when he sold it to Adele for $58 million, down from his asking price of $110 million.

Last year, Stallone bought an equestrian estate for $18.5 million in the Hidden Hills. This is the property that can be seen prominently The Stallone Family. This home has a pool, pool house, hot tub and guest house, as well as a guard house.

It is a four bedroom, seven bathroom home with a fully equipped gym, home theater and sauna. The total square footage of the house is a comfortable 10,460 square feet.

American luxury describes the house like this: “the two-story foyer is serene and spacious, and is fronted by a traditional Oriental staircase of white balusters and dark wood walkways and handrails rising to a second-floor view.”

“However, the kitchen and solarium day room get the blue ribbon and are probably the main destination on the property. A gym and a theater are also on the list of amenities.”

The floors are made of oak with a “vaulted ceiling, beamed inset with skylights”. There is a “folding glass panel” wall that also opens into the backyard.

Other amenities include organic vegetable gardens, 100 fruit trees, a koi pond and a greenhouse.

It is set on 2.26 acres with an outside staircase leading from the upper lawn to the lower one where the swimming pool and pool house are located. For a better look:

In October, Stallone sold the home to rock legend John Fogerty for $18.15 million.

Stallone is probably now living in one of his other homes, possibly his Palm Beach one. If history is any guide, he’ll be buying a new one soon.
