Everyone’s favorite Airbender, Aang, is ready to entertain his fans once again in the live-action series Avatar: The Last Airbender. For the unversed, the live-action adaptation is based on the popular Nickelodeon animated show. The fantasy series featured fictional locations primarily inspired by East Asian cultures. They were composed of four nations based on the four elements of nature, ie, Air Nomads, Earth Kingdom, Fire Nation, and Water Tribes. This Netflix series will have the same feature.
The 1-minute 52-second-long teaser of Avatar: The Last Airbender released during Netflix’s Geek Week gave viewers a look at the four nations and the main characters, including Gordon Cormier’s Aang. It shows the situation after an attack by the Fire Nation, the same as the animated show, and only Aang can help restore peace. Avatar Cormier can control all the elements for those who don’t know.
Aang, along with his friends Sokka, Katara, siblings, and members of the Southern Water Tribe, goes on a journey to get back by going against the Fire Lord Ozai. Meanwhile, Zuko Dallas [the Crown Prince] set to capture them and stop them from achieving their goal.
