PlayStation Plus subscribers are counting down to the release of free PS4 and PS5 games in November 2023. The next wave of PS Plus games has a release date of November 7 and a launch time of 10am UK GMT. This means you only have a few hours left to redeem the October PS Plus releases, so consider this your last warning to pick up the likes of Farming Simulator 22, Callisto Protocol and Weird West before they leave the service.
For November 2023 games, Mafia 2 Definitive Edition is arguably the pick of the bunch.
Inspired by “iconic mafia dramas”, the open-world action game takes place in 1940s New York.
“War hero Vito Scaletta is stuck with the mob hoping to pay off his father’s debt,” reads the official description.
“Along with his friend Joe, Vito works to prove himself, climbing the family ladder with crimes for greater reward, status and consequence.”
Mafia 2 Definitive Edition will join Aliens: Fireteam Elite and asymmetric action game Dragon Ball Breakers.
“Dragon Ball The Breakers is an asymmetric online action game in which a team of seven ordinary citizens try to survive the Raider (classic Dragon Ball rivals such as Frieza and Broly), hunt and evolve into an unstoppable force!” Sony explains.
“Cooperate with others and use different methods to fight off the raider and escape the field!”
In addition to the free PS4 and PS5 games, subscribers will receive Sony Pictures Core benefits for the month of November.
The recently released streaming service allows PlayStation users to buy or rent more than 2,000 movies.
According to Sony, PS Plus members will receive a 15% discount on all content available for purchase and rental in Sony Pictures Core during the month of November.
Subscribers will be given early access to the interactive streaming series Silent Hill: Ascension.
Sony explains more: “Finally, we hope you caught the premiere of the new interactive mind streaming series Silent Hill: Ascension that premiered yesterday.
“In addition to the interactive series, a weekly collection of audience-influenced stories will be packaged into TV episodes, and PlayStation Plus Premium/Deluxe members will have exclusive access to each weekly compilation episode 24 hours before it debuts on other platforms.
“PlayStation Plus Premium/Deluxe members can catch the first one early on November 8th at noon PST local time, before its wide release on November 9th.”
