During the practice session of the Australian team, a 16-year-old boy was given the opportunity to bowl. Australia’s legendary batsmen had to face difficulties in front of this left-arm spin bowler. Especially former Australia captain Steve Smith, who plays spin well, and aggressive batsman Marcus Stoinis. Stoinis was not able to understand the ball and had to face discomfort many times while facing this boy.
Who is the 16 year old boy?
The boy we are talking about is Sameer Khan. Sameer Khan is a resident of Kapurthala, Punjab and is a student of class 11th. He has recently been selected among the probables of Punjab Under-19 team. Sameer bowled to Marcus Stoinis for about 20 minutes during the practice session and troubled him with his spinning balls. This legendary all-rounder of Australia highly appreciated the talent of this 16 year old bowler.

After the practice session Sameer said, ‘The coach did not ask me to bowl on any particular line. I bowled my natural bowling. Stoinis was having some difficulty playing on the back foot. I bowled the ball a little higher and they were getting stuck on it. I also got out LBW. Bowling to players like Steve Smith and Marcus Stoinis was a great experience for me.
