Loki Season 2, with Tom Hiddleston in the title character, left everyone in Marvel’s surprise after a long time. The six-episode series ended last week, and people can’t stop talking about it. It not only brought back MCU’s lost glory but broke its tradition of end credit scenes, and the show’s producer, Kevin Wright, states the reason behind it. But do you all remember that this isn’t the only Marvel project to do that? Can you guess the names of the movie or series? Scroll below for more information.

The second season of the series saw Loki finally reach and achieve his glorious purpose in life, but ultimately he was alone, the only thing he feared. Tom appeared in that role back in 2011 in Thor with Chris Hemsworth as God of Thunder, and since then, the audience has fallen for his charm and great acting. Marvel has been struggling with their content for a while now, and thanks to this series sequel, they managed to win back their fans.

But unlike MCU movies or other web series, Loki Season 2 did not have any end credits scene in its final episode. These post-credits scenes usually connect a series or movie to other Marvel projects or just hint at the future of that particular series. In the words of Tom Hiddleston, this last episode brought Loki’s character arc full circle, and if seen from that angle, the producer’s decision to not include the end credits seems justified. Let’s see what Producer Kevin Wright had to say about it in his interview with TVLine.

The Loki Season 2 producer said, “We didn’t write any [post-credits scenes], and we certainly didn’t have a shoot. Many people want these things to feel like contained stories. I know some people like the interconnection more. I think that sometimes gets in the way of some of our stories. For us, the story was closed, that’s it.”

This also marks the end of Tom Hiddleston’s Loki in the MCU, as Tom suggested, saying that it has been an amazing journey for him these fourteen years. Fans speculated that they would never see him in the MCU again, but he died and came a lot of the time. So, never say never!

As mentioned above, before Loki Season 2, there was another MCU project that had no end credit scene. Do you remember which one it was?

It was Avengers: Endgame! The 2019 Marvel movie ended the Infinity saga with the deaths of Black Widow and Iron Man. There was no post-credits scene. Other than that, Secret Invasion had no post-credits scenes.

Loki Season 2, with six episodes directed by Tom Hiddleston, is available for you to watch on Disney +.
