Labour representative says Ford yet to make proposal on feared cutbacks in Germany

FRANKFURT (Reuters) – Ford executives have offered to hold talks with labor representatives about planned structural changes at the U.S. carmaker’s Cologne plant and other German sites but no concrete proposals have been put forward , said a shop steward on Saturday.

German union officials said on Wednesday that Ford will decide by mid-February how many jobs it will cut in Europe.
