Joe Sugg has responded to his girlfriend Dianne Buswell’s latest Strictly Come Dancing 2023 routine.
The former contestant took to Instagram to comment on the American Smooth dancer’s romance with partner Bobby Brazier.
The 32-year-old pulled under his other half, 34, and the EastEnders actor, 20, as he gave a public show of support in front of his 6.8 million followers.
It comes one week after viewers of the show’s partnership were talking, claiming there was a “close kiss” between them.
Joe, who took part in the BBC hit in 2018, declared the duo’s performance the “best ballroom act” of the competition.
He also said he was “very proud” of Dianne, who he met through the program and started dating soon after.
Sharing a video of their dance, he wrote: “The best ballroom dance yet from the Bobby Dazzler @bobbybrazier.
“And @diannebuswell your choreography – v proud of you,” (sic) alongside applause and a heart emoji.
Dianne soon replied: “Thank you my angel,” in front of her own 968,000 followers.
Joe’s sister Zoe Sugg also posted, saying: “One of my favorites you both have done so far! Absolutely amazing @diannebuswell @bobbybrazier.”
Dianne spoke out after the show, urging: “Please help us go to the Blackpool and vote xxx I think Bobby has the best dance yet.” (sic)
“So proud of our dance tonight,” after finding the pair right in the middle of the leaderboard.
She said with a glimpse of her father: “When dad calls you to say watching Bobby and I dance, he immediately felt better.”
Former show pro Kevin Clifton was one of many people watching at home who were in awe of his set, as they danced to Ghost of You by 5 Seconds of Summer.
“A lot of guys,” he said online, with a graphic of applause, for which she thanked him.
Last Saturday, Dianne and Bobby’s Argentine Tango set tongues wagging, with one viewer tweeting: “Who a hold on a minute! Did we just see a full blown kiss at the end of Bobby and Diane’s dance I’m sure we did. “(sic)
However, he seemed to surprise her during the latest installment when he shared a very candid insight into his personal life.
Strictly Come Dancing is back tonight at 7.20pm on BBC One.
