Jio AirFiber will be launched tomorrow, know how much it will cost

New Delhi: Mukesh Ambani, the richest man in India and Asia, shook the world of telecom sector in the year 2016. Now he is preparing to create a similar stir in the internet world also. His company Jio is launching its fixed wireless access (FWA) device Jio AirFiber tomorrow on the occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi. Ambani had made this announcement on the occasion of Reliance’s AGM on August 29. It is a portable wireless internet service designed for homes and offices. In this, users will get strong speed up to 1.5 Gbps, due to which even the biggest videos will be downloaded in the blink of an eye. This will give tough competition to Bharti Airtel which recently launched its FWA Xstream AirFiber in Mumbai and Delhi.

It is believed that Reliance’s Jio AirFiber can completely change the world of broadband. There were 100 million FWAs in the world in the year 2022, while this number is expected to reach 300 million by the end of 2028. Of these, 80 percent will use 5G technology. Considering the increasing use of data in the country, there is every possibility of increasing the use of FWA in the country. While giving information about Jio AirFiber during the AGM, Reliance had said that the company will provide internet facility to 20 crore homes through this device. Jio AirFiber works like a plug and play device. This device catches the signal from the company’s tower and provides you hotspot service.
