The current flag has the Lion of Ashoka Pillar and ‘Satyamev Jayate’ written in Devanagari below it. The historical Ashoka Pillar is also the coat of arms of India. Below is a Himalayan eagle with its wings spread, signifying the fighting qualities of the Indian Air Force. A light blue circle surrounds the Himalayan eagle with the words ‘Indian Air Force’ written on it. The motto of the Indian Air Force is ‘Nabh Sprisham Deeptam’ in Sanskrit. In Hindi it means ‘Touch the sky with victory.’ This motto is taken from Srimad Bhagavad Gita Chapter 11 Verse 24 and its meaning is. ‘Bright you will touch the heaven’ or in other words ‘touch the sky with glory’

The current flag of the Air Force is blue. It has the national flag in the first quadrant and a circular circle made up of the colors of the national flag, i.e. saffron, white and green, in the centre. This ensign was adopted in 1951. A statement issued by the Air Force said, a new flag has now been created to better reflect the values of the Air Force. Changes have been made to the upper right corner of the flag. The Air Force crest will be incorporated on the fly side.

On Sunday, the new flag was first hoisted on a moving platform by four air warriors and brought before the Air Force Chief. After that the Air Force Chief unveiled the new flag. At the same time, a large flag was raised from behind the two drone curtain walls in front of them. Which has been kept as the background of the parade. After this the new ensign was hoisted on the flag pole. The old version was removed from there. It was folded and handed over to the Air Force Chief with full respect and will later be included as an exhibition in the Air Force Museum. During this, Air Force aircraft Mi-17V5 flew low with the new flag of the Air Force.

The Indian Air Force has changed its flag after 72 years. It was unveiled on Air Force Day at Bamrauli Central Air Command Headquarters in Prayagraj. The Air Force was established on 8 October 1932. After 72 years, the Air Force has changed its flag.

Parade concluded at Bamrauli Air Force Station
The parade has been completed at Bamrauli Air Force Station on the 91st Foundation Day of Central Air Command. The program started in the morning with the entry of para head gliders. The para glider took a 360 degree turn in the air. Seeing the amazing feat, the audience welcomed the para glider with applause. When the two para motor performed stunts in the air, people stood up from their sheets. The para motor passed through the spectators at a speed of 40 km per hour. Both the paramotors came close to the spectators in the air and greeted them. The pandal echoed with the applause of the people. After this the paratroopers jumped from a height of 8000 feet and covered a distance of 150 km. Came down at an hourly rate. The audience was thrilled to see this. Air Chief Marshal VS Chaudhary took the salute of the parade. CDS Anil Chauhan participated as a special guest on this occasion. During the parade the Air Chief also unveiled the new flag of the Indian Air Service.
