The Indian pair maintained dominance in this game and did not allow the Chinese pair to score points. After this, Chirag-Satvik won the second game also by 21-18. In this way both of them gave India a 2-0 lead over China. In the third match, India’s Kidambi Srikanth faced Shifeng Li in singles. Shifeng defeated Srikanth 24-22 in the first game. After this, in the second game, Shifeng defeated Srikanth 21-9. China made a comeback and reduced the lead to 1-2. China’s Liu Yuchen and Ou Xuanyi defeated the pair of Dhruv Kapil and Sai Prateek 21-6, 21-15.
