GTRI says that the future of IMEC is now completely uncertain. However, Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman had said a day earlier that the Israel-Palestine war has had no impact on IMEC’s ​​plans. The Finance Minister said this in an international seminar organized in Marrakesh (Morocco).

However, many international experts have also said that the reason behind Hamas attack was to sabotage IMEC’s ​​plan. They say that many powers do not like that peace should be established between Israel and Saudi Arabia.
