Emmerdale’s Charley Webb says she’s ‘ignoring life’ after split claims | Celebrity News | Showbiz & TV

Charley Webb posted a cryptic comment about “disregarding life” on social media.

The Emmerdale actress and her co-star husband Matthew Wolfenden sparked split fears as sources claimed the couple had been living separate lives for months now – after 15 years together.

In her latest Instagram post, Charley, 35, took to Instagram wearing a baseball cap and a black sweater as she stared into the camera.

In her caption, she wrote: “Ignore life and all the jobs I have to do.

“Also, I want more piercings.”

Matthew, 43, and Charley, who are also proud parents of three, tied the knot in 2018 and the couple met on the set of Emmerdale in 2007.

They had a brief split in 2013 for two years but had since reunited.

A source told The Sun: “Charlie and Matthew were at very different places in their lives when they first met.

“Three kids later and new careers in the mix, everything has changed and they may not be the unit they once were.”

Express.co.uk previously contacted representatives for Charley Webb and Matthew Wolfenden for comment.

The couple first met while working on the set of Emmerdale back in 2006 when he joined the soap and got engaged just three years later, in 2009.

They surprised guests with a wedding after friends thought they were attending Charley’s 30th birthday party.

Charley called OK!: “That moment when we announced what we were doing and saw everyone’s reaction was the best moment of my life.’

Matthew added: “We couldn’t have had a better response. People were just screaming for ten minutes!”

The Emmerdale actor recently quit Emmerdale after 18 years of playing David Metcalfe and is busy rehearsing for his new role in Elf right away.

Charley meanwhile left the soap two years ago and starred in various other TV dramas.
