Patna. The continuously increasing cases of dengue in the district has exposed the claims made by the Health Department and the Municipal Corporation Administration regarding the eradication of dengue. Khanpurti is being done in the name of pesticide spraying in the wards. On Friday, 153 new patients were found in Patna district. With this the number of dengue patients has reached 3887. Maximum number of dengue patients have been found – 47 in Patliputra zone, 26 in Bankipur, 11 in Nutan Rajdhani, 12 in Kankarbagh, six in Danapur, five in Phulwarisharif, two in Patna City, between two to four in Azimabad and other rural areas. Seven new dengue patients found in Begusarai district
The number of dengue patients is continuously increasing in Begusarai district. Seven new dengue patients were found in the district on Friday. The total number of dengue patients has now reached 411. Sadar Hospital and Municipal Corporation Administration are in full alert mode regarding dengue. Civil Surgeon Dr. Pramod Kumar has appealed to the people to be cautious.
Dengue confirmed in 12 more patients in Muzaffarpur district
The number of dengue patients has started increasing in Muzaffarpur district. During investigation on Friday, 12 new cases of dengue were confirmed in SKMCH. In one patient, both dengue and chikungunya were found. So far this year, 247 dengue patients have been found in the district. District Vector Borne Disease Control Officer Dr. Satish Kumar said that 12 new dengue patients have been found in the test report from the lab. Patients admitted for treatment in SKMCH and private hospitals are being monitored. In private hospitals, the blood samples of patients whose dengue is confirmed are being sent to the lab for ELISA test. All PHCs have been alerted.
Three dengue patients found again in Nalanda district
The sting of dengue still continues in Bihar Sharif. Out of 56 samples tested in the laboratory of Sadar Hospital, three were dengue positive. The number of patients in the district has reached 165. Three new dengue patients found in Jehanabad
Dengue havoc continues unabated in Jehanabad district. In the latest case, three new dengue patients have been found.
