A large number of Salman Khan fans turned up to celebrate the day of ‘Tiger 3’ as the film released on Diwali. The superstar has a loyal and crazy fan following that finds it hard to keep the excitement going every time his film releases. Several videos of his fans have emerged on social media celebrating the film’s release by bursting firecrackers during the show in Malegaon, Nashik. Some people can see crackers burst as ‘Tiger 3’ was on the big screen. Others, who were afraid of the crackers, can be seen running for cover and safety inside the theatre. A few Salman Khan fans set off rockets inside the theater in other videos as well.
Taking note of the issue, Salman took to X (formerly Twitter) and wrte, “I am hearing about fireworks inside theaters during Tiger3. This is dangerous. Let’s enjoy the movie without us and people put others at risk. Be safe.”
This is not the first time such an incident has happened for a Salman Khan film. In 2021, during the release of ‘Antim: The Final Truth’, fans exploded firecrackers inside a theatre. Salman took notice of the situation at that time and condemned the incident. He also urged his fans not to do it again. “Ask all my fans not to build fire extinguishers inside the auditorium as it could be a huge fire hazard, putting your life and others at risk. My request to the theater owners not to allow arsonists to enter the cinema and the security should stop them at the entry point. By all means enjoy the movie but please refrain, this is my request to all my fans.. thank you,” he then said.
Meanwhile, Tiger 3 saw the biggest Bollywood opening during Diwali. According to Sacnilk projections, the film grossed a whopping Rs 40 crore on the first day and earned Rs 44.50 crore on its opening day. The film saw an overall occupancy of 41.32 percent and the highest occupancy rate was recorded at 46.18 percent during night shows.
Director Maneesh Sharma’s ‘Tiger 3’ is an action thriller starring Salman Khan, Katrina Kaif and Emraan Hashmi. It is a sequel to the 2017 film ‘Tiger Zinda Hai’ and the fifth installment in YRF’s Spy Universe. The film’s script is written by Shridhar Raghavan and dialogues by Anckur Chaudhry. The story is written by Aditya Chopra. ‘Tiger 3’ also stars Revathi, Simran, Riddhi Dogra, Vishal Jethwa, Kumud Mishra, Ranvir Shorey and Aamir Bashir in supporting roles. Produced by Yash Raj Films, the film is composed by Pritam, while the background score is composed by Tanuj Tiku.
Talking about Salman Khan’s work, the star is currently hosting Bigg Boss 17. He was last seen in Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan bankrolling his own production house, SK Films. On the other hand, Katrina Kaif was seen opposite Ishaan Khatter and Siddhant Chaturvedi in Phone Bhoot.
