Peel Regional Police also recovered weapons from the arrested youths. Which includes pistols.
People of Donald Street on Bridle Drive in Brampton had called the police and complained that some Punjabi youth had opened fire on the night of October 2.
As soon as the information was received, the police started investigating. Police investigation found that there was firing, but there were no casualties.
Punjabi youth aged 19 to 26 years
Peel Police started searching for the accused as soon as they received information about the shooting in Brampton’s Donald Street. They had received information that all the accused were hiding in a house.
Police raided the house and arrested 8 youths. They have been identified as Rajdeep, Rabjot Randhawa, Jagmeet Singh, Ripanjeet Singh, Japanjeet Singh, Lovepreet Singh. The age of all these youth is between 19 to 26 years.
Among these, there is a youth who had recently hit a truck with his car. The court had declared him guilty in this case.
People have told the police that the arrested Punjabi youths are of hooligan nature and often keep fighting there.
