There is a new Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3 update on PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X | S, Xbox One and PC. The latest Call of Duty update gets things ready for the start of the first season, making various balance changes and weapon tweaks across multiplayer. Game modes like Team Deathmatch and Ground War also get some fixes, with Activision increasing the score requirements of the former. • Players will no longer encounter a blank screen where MWIII tiles are expected.

• Fixed Player issue console when cross-launching from one game to another game terminated parties with a split-screen Player.

• Fixed an issue for PC Players where optional installations were not available to play after completing the installation.

• A fix has been implemented to resolve some crashes that occurred during the application startup sequence.

STABILITY & PERFORMANCE

• PC Players with NVIDIA GeForce RTX 40 Series GPUs can use DLSS 3 across all modes in Call of Duty Modern Warfare III. With NVIDIA’s Super-Resolution DLSS and Frame Generation, DLSS 3 multiplies performance by up to 1.8X to enhance your PC experience.

• Fixed a bug where some console Players would have an error when invited to a Party.

• Fixed a bug where some Players were pushed console to the Main Menu after selecting certain items in the Battle Pass.

• Fixed a bug where some Players were sent back to the Multiplayer lobby after trying to make a match in any Playlist.

• Addressed account-based issues that prevented offline play.

CAMPAIGN

STABILITY & PERFORMANCE

• Fixed a crash that occurred for PC Players during the game’s restart sequence after an update.

• Fixed a bug that resulted in Players receiving an error message when trying to launch a Campaign.

• Fixed issue causing DEV ERROR 12510 after trying to start Operation 627 mission.

• Fixed a bug that forced Players to skip cinematic cutscenes when a controller was disconnected.

• Fixed multiple gameplay related crashes in Oligarch mission.

• Fixed a crash that occurred after deploying a Cruise Missile in the Reactor mission.

MOVEMENT

• Completion rewards will now be awarded correctly if the Player closes the application during the Credits sequence.

• 141 Ready Achievement will now correctly track the lowest difficulties used to complete a mission.

• Fixed a bug where the functionality of all Ziplines and Ascenders in the map disappeared after canceling a climbing animation.

• Fixed a bug where the Player could not interact with Equipment pickup while rapidly drawing a handgun.

• Enemy Player elevation will now be displayed correctly on the Min Paper.

• Fixed a bug where Playlists disappear from the Main Menu for some console Players.

• Quick View Game Card on the Scoreboard is now working as expected for console players.

• They will no longer be allowed to promote a player to Party Leader to attempt a match for locked Playlists.

• Addressed an issue that prevented Bolt Attachments from unlocking at the expected Weapon Level for the KATT-AMR (Sniper Rifle).

Challenges

• Introduced new requirements for the Priceless Camo challenge for the WSP Swarm (Sub-Gun).

• Get 10 Double Operator Kills while in Tac-Stance.

• Fixed issues that prevented some Challenges from tracking completed progress.

• Corrected unlock challenge tracking conditions for BBQ (Operator).

• Players can no longer plant bombs at site A from an unintended location in Search and Destroy.

• Players will no longer spawn in enemy territory in Invasion mode.
