Brandon Perea Gives Fans Continued Hope for ‘The OA’ Season 3

It’s been four years The OA Canceled, but it still stings to remember. The series was really taking off in season 2 when Netflix ended up pulling the plug.

The show was about a young woman named Prairie Johnson (Brit Marling) who returns home after being gone for 7 years. She has made a great and miraculous return, considering she left blind but came. back with a view. When the FBI tries to find out what happened to Prairie, she refuses to talk about what happened.

Season 2 ended with a bang, with Prairie leaping over Earth into a new reality. Unfortunately, viewers didn’t get to know what came of this because season 3 was never released. This is a huge disappointment, and even after all this time, the team and the fans have failed to give hope.

Couldn’t The OA come back for a third season?

Even the league’s team and staff seem eager to get back on board. It’s not star Brandon Perea – who portrayed French on The OA — he shared a tweet in June 2023, in which he encouraged his followers to always leave the door open:

Perea made sure to give a shout to Murder at the End of the Worldnew series with The OA creators and executive producers Brit Marling (who also starred as the titular OA) and Zal Batmanglij. The series follows an amateur thriller and hacker named Darby Hart who is invited by a billionaire to go on vacation in a remote and wonderful place. A guest is found dead, so Darby uses her skills to prove it was murder. It premieres November 14th on FX and will be available to stream on Hulu.

He also included a shot of Marling responding to an Instagram comment. In the screenshot, Marling can be seen confirming to fans that she is also lost The OA, and she also teases that the show might come back someday, like Twin Peaks – another eclectic show that ended too soon. As we all know, Twin Peaks was almost 30 years oldr break between the second and third seasons.

Hey, if it means that Perea is still working in front of the screen in thirty years, the silver linings outweigh the wait time. The OA it really shows off Perea’s acting chops – which are now thankfully being recognized by a wider audience after his turn at the moment. It’s not.

The OAIt’s also one of the few shows that can pull off that kind of break. It was never a traditional show — again, because Twin Peaks — and Marling and Batmanglij have shown that they can pull some really great ideas out of it. Stranger things have happened.
