Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky will give a speech at the UN General Assembly some time from now. He will address the UN General Assembly for the first time since the war with Russia started in February last year. Many world leaders will also be present during this period.
It is believed that during his speech at the 77th General Assembly of the UN, Zelensky may demand strict sanctions on Russia as well as seek help from the countries of the world. By the way, before Zelensky, US President Joe Biden gave a speech and mentioned many important issues.
Biden said – our future is connected
During his speech in the General Assembly, US President Joe Biden said – All the countries of the world will have to work together on climate change. Apart from this, we will also have to focus on issues like Artificial Intelligence and Food Security.
Biden also mentioned G-20. Said- This is an important forum for discussion on important issues. We have also included the African Union in this. The special thing is that Biden mentioned G-20 and African Union before Ukraine. Biden said- We know that our future is linked with you. The heads of the governments from India and Mexico will not participate. Ministers will participate in their place.
Global South is sure to be mentioned
Last year, the issue of war between Russia and Ukraine dominated this assembly. This time it is believed that there will be more focus on Africa and the situation after Covid.
Recently, during the G-20 summit held in New Delhi, Prime Minister Narendra Modi had raised the issue of Global South and demanded to give it maximum attention. In the same summit, African Union was also given membership of this group.
