A female passenger traveling in the North East Express told after the accident that we were sitting in the train. Suddenly a voice came.
Deputy Chief Minister of Bihar, Tejashwi Yadav wrote on Twitter, “On the sad incident of overturning of several bogies of North East Express going from Delhi to Guwahati in Buxar, after talking to the Disaster Management Department, Health Department and district officials of Buxar and Bhojpur, relief reached the spot as soon as possible.” And instructions have been given to speed up the rescue work and make proper medical arrangements for the injured. The Bihar government is actively engaged in rescue, relief and treatment work for the victims and injured.
Union Minister and Buxar MP Ashwini Choubey said, “I have told Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav about this. Along with this, I have also talked to DG of NDRF, Chief Secretary of Bihar, District Magistrate there, GM of Railways. Social worker And other people are engaged in rescue work. They are also sending a team of doctors to the spot. I am also reaching the spot. I am also continuously taking information.”
Most of the bogies that became victims of the accident were of AC class. This accident has happened at a time when people are preparing to sleep.
East Central Railway said on social media that the accident relief vehicle along with the medical team and officials has left for the incident site.
Congress wrote on social media platform X that worrying news is coming about the accident of North-East Express in Bihar. Praying to God to provide speedy recovery to the injured.
Railway officer Birendra Kumar, while talking to ABP News, said that at least 20 injured passengers have been admitted to the hospital. Most people have suffered minor injuries.
Bihar Deputy CM Tejashwi Yadav spoke to DM-SP of Buxar and Arrah. They have been instructed to make proper arrangements for the injured and send the concerned officers to the incident site as soon as possible.

News agency PTI quoted a railway official as saying that the accident occurred at around 9.35 pm near Raghunathpur station near Buxar. There is no news of any casualty during this period. The train was going to Kamakhya located near Guwahati in Assam.
