The Special Investigating Agency has filed an application in the High Court to quash the complaint against Teesta Shetalvad, who helped the victims of the Godhra attack in their legal battle. As the High Court refused to hear it urgently, the further hearing will be held on October 11. In the application filed by Teesta in the High Court, it has been submitted that no crime is committed against her.

The Supreme Court, during the Godhra scandal verdict, had directed the seat to take action against those who defame politicians in this case. Following which Teesta Setalvad, RB Sreekumar and Sanjeev Bhatt filed a complaint.
