A brazen accused who was selling foreign liquor in a car near Wadi Shastri Bagh Swaminarayan Complex has been arrested.
Two days ago, based on the information received by the Panigate Police, a total of 144 bottles of foreign liquor worth Rs 29,400 were seized from a car near Swaminarayan Complex. The accused Mukesh alias Sarjon Ram Abhilash, a resident of Kanojia, Gomtipura Gharrawadi, who was dealing in foreign liquor at this place for some time, was also picked up by the police. The accused has been detained by Pani and sent to Ahmedabad Jail. 10 crimes have been registered against the accused in the last six years in Panigat police station itself. Apart from this, crimes have been registered against him in other police stations.
