An elephant was killed in a horrific road accident involving a Nairobi-bound bus on the Nairobi-Mombasa highway. An elephant has died in a highway accident while crossing the road in Tsavo East National Park. The injured were taken to Moi County Referral Hospital in Woyi for treatment. In which one got serious injuries.

A horrific road accident has occurred on the Nairobi-Mombasa highway, injuring several passengers and killing an elephant. A horrific road accident, including one on the way from Mombasa to Nairobi. The accident took place after a speeding bus hit an elephant at Mangu in the county.
The report indicated that local people reached the spot after hearing about the death of the elephant. One person was also seriously injured in the accident. However, others injured in the accident were taken to Moi County Referral Hospital in Woyi for treatment.
The elephant died while crossing the road through Tsavo East National Park. However, no death of any passenger has been reported in this serious accident. Due to which the passenger thanked God after surviving the accident. He said his seatbelt saved him from serious injuries after the bus collided with the elephant.

Eldoret-Nakuru highway accident
Earlier, a similar road accident occurred at a spot on the Eldoret-Nakuru highway. The dead were two minors, aged between 10 months and seven years. Police at the scene received information that the accident at the Total Trading Center was caused by a bus bound for Eldoret, the driver lost control of the bus and hit a car.
