In fact, the Indian cricket organization BCCI announced during the last IPL tournament that for every dot ball thrown during the entire tournament, BCCI will plant 500 trees. A total of 294 dot balls were hit during the last IPL and on account of that BCCI has to plant 1,74,000 trees. In the same order, today on September 28, Jai Shah planted one lakh tree in Narendra Modi Cricket Stadium. When the BCCI made this announcement during the IPL about the environment of the country and the world, it won the hearts of many cricket fans and environmentalists. And now the cricket body is actually doing that.

Meanwhile, during today’s program at Narendra Modi Stadium, Jai Shah, Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan, UNICEF Ambassador Smriti Mandhana and other dignitaries launched an initiative called ‘Criiio 4 Good’ under which children are imparted various training.
