Information that Afghans living illegally in Pakistan have been ordered to leave the country
New Delhi: Pakistan’s Ministry of External Affairs has given an ultimatum to Afghans living illegally in Pakistan without valid documents to voluntarily leave the country before October 31. According to the details, Pakistan has now decided to deport 17 lakh Afghan refugees living in Pakistan instead of 11 lakh. After the ongoing conflict between Pakistan and Afghanistan’s Taliban rulers for some time now, Pakistan has started an exercise to deport Afghan citizens living in its country. Mumtaz Baloch, the spokesperson of Pakistan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, said that we have generously allowed Afghan refugees to stay in Pakistan for the last four decades. When Soviet Russia invaded Afghanistan, millions of people left Afghanistan. The 1.4 million Afghans registered as refugees in Pakistan need not worry. He said that we want to evict those people who are staying in the country illegally. Whether they are from Afghanistan or any other country.
