Mosquito-borne epidemics have increased in Ahmedabad in the last one month. A new experiment has been carried out by the BJP corporators in the area to prevent mosquito-borne epidemics after the recent heavy rains which have gradually increased the incidence of mosquito-borne diseases like dengue malaria etc. A fitted cloth is placed over the filled water barrels. Because of this, the mosquito larvae in the water will be destroyed and air movement will not be possible. Thus, this experiment has been carried out to prevent the breeding of mosquitoes.
