10 Hamas fighters knew how to find and infiltrate an Israeli intelligence base. After entering Israel they headed east on five motorcycles. There were two fighters on each bike. While advancing, they were showering bullets on the passing vehicles.

After about 16 kilometers they left the road and headed towards the forests. Here a military got down outside the gate. There was no guard at the gate. Fighters breached the barrier here using small bombs. Entered the base. Took a group selfie. An unarmed Israeli soldier was then shot dead.

Israeli army officials have given this information regarding the infiltration of Hamas. He explained how Hamas planned this surprise attack and defeated the most powerful army in the Middle East. He further said that Hamas knew the weaknesses and secrets of the Israeli army.

Took the help of the map to move forward
For a moment the fighters looked unsure of where to go next, but one of the fighters pulled a map of the complex from his pocket. With the help of the map, they understood the way forward.

Then they moved to a high security building. Here the door was open. They entered. Reached a room where many computers were kept. This was the intelligence hub of the Israeli army. As they advanced, the fighters found two soldiers, then the fighters shot them.

The entire incident was caught on a camera mounted on the Hamas commander’s head. This is the same commander who was killed on Saturday i.e. October 7. The New York Times has seen and verified the video with Israeli officials.

Destroyed surveillance cameras with drones
Using drones, Hamas fighters destroyed Israeli army surveillance cameras and communication towers installed on the Gaza border. This weakened Israel’s army. The fighters then bombed the barricades on the Israeli border.

Bulldozers tore down the barbed wire, allowing 200 fighters to enter at a time. About 1,800 fighters infiltrated on 7 October. Riding on motorcycles and pick-up trucks, these fighters simultaneously attacked and destroyed 8 military bases and 15 villages.

Hamas knew the operation of the Israeli army
Hamas planning documents, videos and statements by security officials make it clear that the fighters had accurate information about Israeli military operations. They knew where specific army units were stationed. Not only that, Hamas fighters also knew how long it would take the army to reach which areas and regroup.

The Israeli military says it will investigate how Hamas managed to breach its security so easily after the war ends.
