Devka village has been ranked third in the list of the most beautiful tourist villages in the country. Hence there is an atmosphere of enthusiasm among the people of Daman. Especially the people of Devka are feeling proud along with enthusiasm.
Several conditions and criteria are kept for the award of the most beautiful tourist village in the country as announced by the Department of Tourism of the country and the list announced. Including the beauty of the village along with the cultural heritage, efforts being made to preserve the heritage, natural beauty, health, education and tourism facilities. Including this, 17 different categories are considered and this award is given. Thus, in all these criteria in three stages, this Devka village of Daman has been placed in the list of beautiful tourist villages of the country. With Devka village getting a place in this list, the whole region along with Devka will develop further and more people will visit Daman. For the last few years, efforts are being made in Daman to position Daman as a well-known tourist destination of the country.
