Despite a small role, Deepika appeared in Jawan: So Nayantara got upset
Mumbai, dt. 22: Shah Rukh Khan’s film Jaawan is making a bang at the box office. The film has collected 900 crores worldwide in 13 days. Nayantara is seen in the lead role opposite Shah Rukh Khan in Jaawan but according to reports she is not happy with her Bollywood debut and is no longer in the mood to act in Bollywood films.
According to the report, Nayantara is now in no mood to do any Bollywood film. He is upset with Jawan’s director Atlee Kumar as his role in the film has been cut. Also, he feels that Deepika’s character has been given importance and Nayantara’s role has been sidelined. However, this is a media report.
Deepika Padukone has worked with Shahrukh in many films. Even though he had a cameo in Jaawan, the audience loved him. According to the report, Deepika did not have a cameo but Jaawan Shah Rukh-Deepika’s film was being shot. Nayantara is a leading actress of South. He is not happy with the way he was treated with his role in Jawan. As he has done many good films in South, he is not happy with this first Bollywood film.
Nayantara does not even come to promotional events. She was also not present at the press conference held before Jawan’s success party. However, neither Deepika nor Nayantara got any special work. The film starred King Khan and Vijay Sethupathi. Although a huge grosser, the film was not liked by many due to its illogical storyline and melodrama.
