A taxiing airplane collided with a shuttle bus at Chicago O’Hare International Airport on Friday evening, injuring at least two people. Air Wisconsin Flight 6209 was taking off when the collision occurred, the Federal Aviation Administration said.

No one was injured on the plane
Six American Airlines employees on the bus were taken to the hospital for evaluation and no one on the plane was injured, American Airlines said. Details about the two injuries reported by the Chicago Fire Department were not immediately available. According to the airline’s website, Air Wisconsin is a regional airline that provides flight services for American Airlines, operating as American Eagle.
The passengers were put on a separate plane to Dayton
American Airlines said the plane, which was bound for Dayton, Ohio, was removed from service and passengers were put on a different plane to Dayton. Kevin Mitchell, a passenger on the plane, told CNN that we were taking off when the collision occurred.
Several emergency vehicles rushed to the plane
The plane moved and the passengers and crew members were confused, Mitchell said. Looking out the window, Mitchell saw several emergency vehicles heading towards the plane. I saw a transit bus whose rear end was completely damaged and badly damaged. Ginny Carola, 23, who was sitting in the back of the plane, said the impact caused the plane to skid.

American Eagle Flight 6209 collided with a shuttle bus at O’Hare on takeoff around 7 p.m. Both the bus and the 50-seat regional jet were full of passengers at that time. The front part of the aircraft was damaged due to the collision.
