Cricket News: The third and final match of the ODI series between India and Australia will be played in Rajkot on Wednesday, September 27. Team India has won both the opening ODI series. Now in the third ODI, many big changes can be seen in the playing eleven of India. Indian opener Shubman Gill and fast bowler Shardul Thakur may be out of the third ODI.
According to reports, the team management has considered resting Shubman Gill and Shardul Thakur. The report said that Gill and Shardul will not accompany the team to Rajkot for the third ODI, rather both will join the team in Guwahati. In the warm-up match before the World Cup, India will play its first match against England in Guwahati. However, the team will play their first league match in the World Cup against Australia in Chennai.
Gill scored a brilliant century in the second ODI
The second ODI between India and Australia was played at the Holkar Cricket Stadium in Indore, in which Gill scored a brilliant half-century. Gill played an innings of 104 runs off 97 balls with the help of 6 fours and 4 sixes. This was Gill’s sixth ODI century of his career and first against Australia.
These may be possible changes
Key fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah, who did not play in the second ODI, will return in the third match. Bumrah can be played in place of Shardul. Apart from this, regular captain Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli, Hardik Pandya and Kuldeep Yadav will return to the Indian team in the third ODI. In such a situation many changes can be seen in the team. Captain Rohit Sharma will make up for Gill. It is certain that the captain will be in the opening in place of Gill.
