The epidemic has increased in Porbandar district with mixed weather and increasing heat. The epidemic in Porbandar district has increased after the Lok Mela in which there has been a continuous increase in cases of fever, cold, cough and diarrhea and vomiting in Bhavsinghji Government Hospital of Porbandar, due to which the patients were again given floor beds in the women’s ward of this hospital today.
There was an increase in heat in Porbandar district and an increase in epidemics due to heat and mixed weather has also been reported. Bhavsinghji Government Hospital, Porbandar has seen an increase in the number of OPD and indoor patients after the Lok Mela. Bhavsinghji Government Hospital registered total OPD 3594 in VIC from 4th to 10th September in which 87 cases of diarrhea vomiting, 2 malaria, 1 dengue cases were registered and total OPD 5830 registered in VIC from 11th to 19th September. In which 87 diarrhea vomiting, 4 malaria, 4 dengue and 1 typhoid cases were reported. Due to the increasing epidemic in Bhavsinghji Government Hospital, queues of patients are also being seen at Kesh Bari, while the female ward of the hospital was forced to treat patients today by providing them with floor beds.
