Aftab Shivdasani KYC Fraud: Aftab Shivdasani has become a victim of cyber fraud. The actor received a message from a major private bank regarding KYC update, due to which he lost Rs 1.50 lakh. The actor then approached the bank’s branch manager on Monday, who advised him to file a police complaint.
According to media reports, the police are investigating the matter. A complaint was registered under Section 420 of the IPC and sections of the IT Act. Let us tell you that Aftab has worked in films like ‘Masti’, ‘Mast’ and ‘Hangama’. Recently, Ayesha Shroff, wife of Jackie Shroff, filed a case of fraud of Rs 58 lakh.
Annu Kapoor was also a victim of KYC fraud
Last year, a man was arrested for cheating Annu Kapoor. He too was defrauded of Rs 4 lakh by thugs on the pretext of KYC update.

On the pretext of completing Annu Kapoor’s KYC process, the fraudster obtained the actor’s bank details and asked him to send his OTP. When Annu Kapoor got a call from the bank, he came to know about the fraud done to him. The thugs transferred Rs 4.36 lakh from Annu Kapoor’s account.
